New to carry? The first big choice is where the gun rides. Inside the waistband (IWB), outside the waistband (OWB), or appendix (AIWB). Here is the plain version.
IWB: Inside the Waistband
The holster sits inside your pants, usually at 3 to 5 o'clock. Your shirt covers the grip.
- Good for: everyday concealed carry.
- Trade-off: you may need pants one size up.
Our pick: IWB COVERT. The ALPHA upgrade adds spring-steel clips and a wing for better concealment.

OWB: Outside the Waistband
The holster rides on your belt. It's the most comfortable way to carry and the fastest to draw from.
- Good for: range days, open carry, or carry under a jacket.
- Trade-off: harder to hide under a T-shirt.
Our picks: OWB COVERT for a slim, tight ride, or OWB TACTICAL if you run a weapon light. Many popular gun and light pairs are in Quickship. If yours isn't listed, go Custom.

Appendix (AIWB)
The gun rides in front, around 12 to 1 o'clock. Many people find it hides best and draws fast.
- Good for: concealment in light clothes.
- Trade-off: takes practice and strict holster habits.
