I like this holster a lot. I have it mounted on a battle belt using the Molle attachment straps. I have been looking for a light holster that clicks when the firearm is secure in the holster and isn’t held in place by passive friction only. This holster has the reassuring click that the pistol is retained in the holster. I will be purchasing another in the future for a different model of weaponlight.
I'm an LEO tactical instructor and am carrying a Shadow Systems MR920 with a Holosun 507C and TLR7 in the holster.
I am very happy with the holster. It fits tight to the body and is in the right spot. I recently had a 10 hour training day where I wore the holster the entire time and can say it was comfortable and never pulled away from the body. If I had to say anything negative about it, I wish the gun fit a little tighter in the holster, however I can say I ran the length of the range several times and it didn't come out.
After 21 years of law enforcement, and being a holster snob, I have a drawer full of holsters that didn't make the cut. This one won't be in that drawer. She's a keeper.
The gun fitment is simply outstanding. I was very happy with that and wanted to start my review there as it is the most important part to me. That said, what keeps this holster from being my edc is the belt setup. There are two rectangular loops for sliding many types of belts through but a lack or any sort of device that adds tension to a belt to hold the holster in place on the waist. This causes the holster to wander on pants with fewer belt loops and when using thinner belts. Some solutions would be interchangable loops with thinner opennings or a 1"-1.5" section between the loops tensioning the belt against the kydex or even a paddle assembly.
Long story short: Fantastic holster with average to slightly below average belt retention unless solely used for range/battle belts. 4 stars.
